Sonography Program – Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS)

Sonography Training Program in Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS) offers a 21-month Sonography program with campuses in Rochester, Minn., and Jacksonville, Fla. This program provides comprehensive clinical noesis and skills to support students embellish competent entry-level sonographers and tube technolgists. Academic lectures uprise primarily from the Rochester campus and are available to the Jacksonville students through a state-of-the-art, mutual video-enabled classroom. This grouping goes beyond tralatitious distance education and allows live, face-to-face collaboration between sonography students and faculty.

State-of-the-art ultrasound scanners are acquirable at more than 50 scanning stations throughout the Mayo Clinic Byzantine in Rochester. In 2008, Mayo staff in metropolis performed nearly 85,000 sonographic and vascular procedures.

The Mayo Clinic campus in Rochester, Minn., comprises an extensive outpatient complex, Saint Marys Hospital and metropolis Methodist Hospital, and substantial research and activity facilities. This Mayo site is among the largest, most modern scrutiny centers in the world.Primarily, clinical activity takes place on the Mayo Clinic campus, including the ultrasound departments of Radiology, Vascular Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
